Blake Lively Of Savages .

 Hick, out May 11, is about a small town teenager Luli (Moretz) who escapes to Las Vegas, leaving behind her alcoholic and abusive parents. Armed with her smarts, a pistol and pocket money, she hitchhikes her way west. Along the way, Luli crosses paths with Eddie (Eddie Redmayne), an unstable rebel with questionable motives and Glenda (Lively), a cocaine-snorting drifter on the run. Adapted from the critically acclaimed novel by Andrea Portes, this powerful story pulls you into a provocative world of drugs, seduction and murder.

Blake also shared a snap of herself practicing in a shooting range with her hands placed around the target as she dons sound-proof head gear.  The 24-year-old appears as O in the flick about marijuana growers called Ben and Chon who face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend.    Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson star as the protagonists in the film which is based on the Don Winslow novel.  

 
Fans are used to seeing her play on her pretty looks in screen roles such as Ryan Reynold’s love interest in Green Lantern and Serena Van der Woodsen in the recently cancelled Gossip Girl.

But it seems Blake Lively’s characters are about to get grittier once she shakes her blonde hair of her delicate characters.

In a newly released stills from her latest motion picture Savages, Blake can be seen with both her arms covered in blood.

Director Oliver Stone shared more official pictures from the movie on their Facebook page, along with some of her personal snaps from the set.
In the behind the scenes shots which show the cast – including Salma Hayek, Beneicio del Toro and Emile Hirsch - filming on a desert island, the star looks as though she is enjoying her time getting butterfly tattoos painted onto her body in hair and makeup.

Stone teased: ‘Blake took a lot of photographs along the way. She’s quite creative and  is always exploring things, including her bloody hands. I won’t tell you how they get bloody, but you’ll see for yourself.’Savages opens in American cinemas on July 6 and also John Travolta and Uma Thurman.
